The Castlevania Anniversary Collection is launching tomorrow and comes with 8 games. The included games are Castlevania, Castlevania II, Castlevania III, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania: The Adventure (GB), Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge (GB), Castlevania: Bloodlines, and Kid Dracula making this one sick origins collection for anyone wanting to get into the series for the first time! The Castlevania Anniversary Collection also marks the first time Kid Dracula has ever been released outside of Japan making the package that much more inciting.
To further sweeten the deal for some, which I imagine will include various Castlevania speedrunners, Konami has opted to include the Japanese versions of an undisclosed number of the include games as part of a free update coming post launch. Again no mention has yet been made for which of the 8 included titles will be getting their original Japanese versions and which won’t. Thankfully we shouldn’t have to wait long to hear more info since the patch is expected to land “shortly after launch.”
