The WRC 10 spot at NACON Connect was pretty special as it featured WRC champ, Sébastien Loeb! Not only that, but a new trailer dropped in celebration of WRC’s 50th anniversary which also announced something big for fans. The trailer shot in-game features many of Mr. Loeb’s victories spanning his entire career and is aptly titled, “In the Shoes of Sébastien Loeb”.
All of this content will be featured in the game’s brand-new Anniversary Edition. So if you’re a Loeb fan, then the Anniversary Edition might be to your liking. This version is teased to grant you access to new content and sensations that’ll include his victories in 2002 at Rally Deutschland, 2004 at Rally Sweden, and the 2018 victory at Rally de España.
There is no price-point as of yet for this version of the game as far as I’m aware. If you pre-order the game in any version though, you’ll get access to Mcrae’s 1997 Subaru Impreza at launch.
WRC 10 launches September 2, 2021, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, and on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
