REMNANT II is about to launch with Early Access this Friday so in the meantime the folks at Gunfire Games and Gearbox Publishing have released this sick new trailer featuring The Hunter Archetype that is just one of the many Archetypes you can choose from in the game. We’ve been playing the review build of the game and can’t wait to share our full review and details with you when the embargoes lift.

“NEW REMNANT II VIDEO SETS ITS SIGHTS ON THE HUNTER ARCHETYPE
Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games today released a new video showcasing the skills and abilities of the Hunter Archetype in their upcoming action-survival shooter title, REMNANT II. The Hunter Archetype specializes in long-range combat, precision shots, and marking threats. The Hunter’s Prime Perk is Dead to Rights, allowing for active Hunter Skills to be extended when long-range hits are scored on enemy weak points. Hunters can also mark enemies. Marked enemies can be seen through walls and are more susceptible to critical hits from all players.
REMNANT II plunges players deeper into a devastated world requiring a mix of methodical and frenetic ranged and melee combat against cunning enemies and punishing boss battles. Enter the fray as a lone wolf or even the odds by teaming up with two friends to overcome daunting challenges. Each time players start a new playthrough of REMNANT II they will be brought into a new world built from a wide pool of locations, enemies, NPCs, bosses, and weapons. These dynamically built levels allow for unique experiences as elements are woven organically into the world and narrative.
An updated Archetype system gives players more flexibility in their play style and lets groups better sync unique passive abilities and stunning powers together in co-op play. Multiple Archetypes can be unlocked, leveled up, and equipped together for a wider variety of play styles.”
Remnant 2 is set to launch on July 25th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Early Access begins on July 21st for those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition. Pre-orders for all digital editions will grant an early unlock of the Gunslinger Archetype.
