Yesterday, Bethesda released the three-minute official in-game intro for Fallout 76 that sets the tone for the upcoming game, set to launch this November.
The preview begins with the ever-so-familiar tagline, “War…War never changes.” A small TV shows up where a man introduces the world to Vault 76, an underground bunker made to withstand a nuclear apocalypse.
“If the bombs do come, if the end does come, our way of life will endure. But not everyone will be saved.”
The latest preview did not include any gameplay footage of the Fallout 76, which is a bit worrying given that the game is barely a couple of months away. However, Bethesda’s senior vice president of global marketing/communications, Pete Hines reassured players on Twitter that they’ll see more of the game soon.
“I know a lot of folks are asking about gameplay. Well, I can confirm we are doing an event soon. And we are going to let a lot of people capture a few hours of gameplay doing whatever they want to do. So before long, you will have hundreds (!!!) of hours of gameplay to watch.”
Fallout 76 releases on November 14 for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 4 with a closed beta available on October 23 for the Xbox One, followed by the PC and PS4 on October 30.
