Hasbro’s latest twist on the classic board game takes players once again to the world of Nintendo’s Mario. Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart is the newest addition to Hasbro’s Mario themed board games. The Mario Kart inspired Monopoly introduces several Kart and classic characters from the game franchise. Players may choose to play Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and many others. All characters will have their unique abilities and powers to make the game more fun to play.

Not only does this game contain Toad Mario Kart tokens and unique power-ups, but it will also include Kart-themed properties such as Bowser’s Castle and the Rainbow Road. As a special twist, when players pass Go, aside from collecting their 200 Kart coins, they will also trigger a race where players would compete with one another for the Grand Prix Card. Lastly, the game wouldn’t be complete without the traditional banana peels and shells that players would have to dodge or throw to one another, making the experience of playing a classic Monopoly game into a fun and exciting Mario Kart experience.

Monopoly Gamer: Mario Kart is now available at GameStop for a price of $30. It will also make its way to even more retailers this summer, and will also include new tokens such as Bowser, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi this fall.
