A bomb was dropped yesterday. Not just the fact that the new game, Aliens: Fireteam had been renamed to Aliens: Fireteam Elite, but we also got the release date! The release date was revealed for August 24th and there’s even a nice new pre-order trailer that went live alongside the news!
The trailer shows off more gameplay as well as the things that make up some of its big features. We get a glimpse of character customization options, although mostly cosmetic but still really cool to see implemented.
