Upcoming psychological horror game Someday You’ll Return by CBE Software was originally announced to be launching in April 2020, but now the Steam launch date has been pushed to May 5th. What’s worse is that if the first platform to get the game is being delayed then the other platforms the game was set to go on later in 2020 could end up being pushed into 2021. Luckily, they still have it slotted for 2020 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One currently, so let’s hope that doesn’t change as well.
There have been a lot of delays announced since the beginning days of the Coronavirus pandemic, one of the hardest to accept ones being The Last of Us II. A lot of indie studios have been trying to push forward as they tend to have smaller teams in the first place, but it seems to be reaching them as well. How many more delays are we in for in 2020?
The good news is that the delay isn’t that much further out, so we will still be seeing Someday You’ll Return hitting the stores soon. But all in all, I think we can all agree that the most important thing for everyone is to stay safe, stay healthy, and stay home as much as possible.
