While many like to partake in the jokes and false announcements that come around every April Fools, the announcement trailer for Mortal Shell by Cold Symmetry is no joke. While their publisher Playstack may have published the announcement trailer on April 1st, this is a very real game that we can look forward to dreading! In fact, some may even have already been looking forward to this game’s official announcement back when it was called “Dungeonhaven.”
This new indie studio only consists of roughly 15 people, but many of these team members are veteran developers who have been credited to work with various AAA titles. These talented individuals even start off on a strong foot by having a trailer that tells us everything we need to know about this game, at least when it comes to having enough information to start looking forward to its completion.
Given that there are no delays or setbacks, this London-based team is hoping to get Mortal Shell out on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime during Q3 of 2020.
