Paradox Interactive has released the announcement trailer for Crusader Kings III, the next game in their popular grand strategy series. Scheduled for a 2020 launch, the strategy game will force you to use diplomacy and war to secure lasting power and peace. Marry your own sister, kill whoever gets in your ways, and (apparently) kill babies. Nothing is off-limits in the game that relives medieval history in the most brutal fashion. The future of the realm is what’s important, so there is no price too high to pay when expanding your kingdom.
Crusader Kings II has a ton of DLCs that improve and modify the original release. Hopefully, the launch of the third game will include a lot of the content and alterations that have made the second game such a powerful strategy experience. If not, players who have invested so much into the current generation of the series may feel reluctant to start all over with Crusader Kings III.
