One of the latest cooperative games to blow up comes from developers Sand Castle Studio and publisher Apogee Entertainment with their game Bread & Fred. The crazy part is, they only have a demo out right now yet it has already surpassed one million downloads! Of course, there is still time to try the game out before launch but the wait isn’t going to be long.
Anchor down and bundle up with a buddy, then hang on tight in a challenging duo platforming quest to summit snow-covered pixelated peaks. Reach new heights together as penguin pals Bread & Fred strive to perfectly sync as they traverse up the slippery slopes. Scale the mountain while testing friendships with local or remote co-op, coordinating jumps in perfect harmony. If you have a friend slowing you down or missing, you can even swap out that weak link with Jeff the Rock to solo-swing across obstacles for a single-player climbing experience.
Bread & Fred launches on May 23rd on PC for Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. The free demo is only available on Steam for those looking to give this game a shot.
