Cyberpunk 2077 Receives Free PlayStation®5 Pro Update!
CD PROJEKT RED announces that its best-selling open-world role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 received a free update for the PlayStation 5 Pro console today.

The PS5® Pro update takes full advantage of the console’s hardware to deliver smoother performance, higher visual fidelity, and expanded ray tracing features.
Players can choose from three graphics modes: Performance, Ray Tracing, and Ray Tracing Pro.
The game is currently available to play at no additional cost for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members.
Starting today, PS5 Pro owners can download the free update to Cyberpunk 2077, which makes full use of the console’s hardware to provide optimized performance, enhanced visual fidelity with upgraded PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), advanced ray tracing features, and more. The update is designed to leverage the full capabilities of the hardware, providing even greater immersion when exploring the dark future.
The free update also contains three graphics modes for players to choose from. Performance Mode delivers the highest possible frame rate for those who prioritize fast, fluid gameplay, while Ray Tracing Pro delivers the full range of available ray tracing enhancements. Striking a middle ground between the two other modes, Ray Tracing offers a balance between visuals and performance. The full list of features can be found in the recently published patch notes.
Since July, Cyberpunk 2077 has been available to play for free through the PlayStation Plus Catalog for Extra and Premium members, and now those playing on PlayStation 5 Pro will be able to see the new update in action for themselves.
