If you’re a completionist looking to knock out every trophy or achievement in Darwin’s Paradox, you’ve probably noticed one called “That Hurt”, which simply asks you to find a piano. But you won’t come across this musical instrument just playing the game normally and following the main path. Instead, you’ll need to take a risk — and face a subsequent death — to round this one up. Here’s where to find the piano in Darwin’s Paradox.
Where to find the piano in Darwin’s Paradox
To get the “That Hurt” trophy or achievement for finding the piano, you’ll first need to head to the chapter “Down in the Dumps 7.” At the very end of this chapter, you’ll pass through a hatch and once again emerge outside (as seen in the image up above) into the massive garbage dump.
While the main path is to the right, you’ll want to make your way left instead.
Continue to walk left for quite a while. You’ll pass a variety of warning signs informing you that you should probably turn back, but we’re pressing forward anyway.
Eventually, a giant piano will fall on your head and kill you, which will also pop the “That Hurt” trophy or achievement. Don’t worry, either, as you’ll just respawn back at the hatch, meaning you can now continue your journey to the right.
Darwin’s Paradox is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
