DEAD BY DAYLIGHT X DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Spotlight!

Dungeons & Dragons pack code was provided by Behaviour Interactive

The latest and greatest for Dead by Daylight is here! And who would’ve guessed that the newest pack would be a collab with Dungeons & Dragons. The collection bearing a ton of skins for survivors, a knight skin, a brand new survivor, and a brand new killer.

Killers

The newest killer to join the fog is The Lich, known to D&D fans as Vecna. This brand new killer brings insanely unique abilities to the game. Vecna is equipped with a variety of spells, each with different cooldown periods. What sets Vecna apart is the versatility of his abilities; he can swap them on the fly, whether he needs help in a chase or is looking to expose the survivors.

Vecna comes with four D&D-based spells. First, there's Fly, which is pretty self-explanatory. When Vecna casts Flight of the Damned, he summons five ghostly skeletons that fly forward and injure anyone in their path, as long as they’re not crouching. Dispelling Sphere helps you find survivors by casting a magic sphere that reveals them if they are touched by it, and it also disables their magic items. Lastly, Mage Hand deals with pesky pallets, either lifting dropped pallets or preventing raised ones from being dropped.

Survivors

The newest survivors to join the unfortunate group are a duo known as The Troupe: Aestri Yazar and Baermar Uraz. These bards were taken from their adventure and introduced to the fog because their curiosity got the better of them. Yazar and Uraz traveled the lands to share their music, but when they heard of a new dark magic, they couldn't resist investigating. As the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat.

The Troupe brings three new D&D-based perks to the game. Bardic Inspiration allows you to perform an animation that empowers nearby survivors. By rolling a D20, you can boost the progression of skill checks based on the number rolled. With Mirrored Illusion, you can spawn a static illusion to fool the killer. Still Sight ensures you’re never left in the dark, revealing the auras of the killer, chests, and generators within a certain distance while you stand still.

This themed pack also includes a variety of fitting and insanely cool cosmetics. A D&D pack is the last thing I expected in Dead by Daylight, but it’s a welcome surprise. I’d love to see more D&D-themed skins for both killers and survivors in the future. Check out the D&D pack in Dead by Daylight for yourself—I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
