Ghost Ship Games has been teasing the inevitable release of Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 4 content. All of these mysterious short clips have shed very little light on what players can expect with the newest update. At the moment, we know there are some new scary bugs and the possibility of Jet powered boots. However, the official Ghost Ship Games YouTube channel has a premiere date for a Season 4 DLC Reveal Premiere that is slated for May 19th at 7:00 am EST.
The game has sold over 5.5 million copies and has a steady player base, ending 2022 with over 800,000 monthly active users and an average of over 11,000 concurrent users. These are some serious numbers from an indie game that launched over 5 years ago. The co-op focused title has been receiving a plethora of updates throughout the years, all at the low price of free.
If you needed any more reason to jump back into the game after a lengthy hiatus, or maybe even try it for the first time, we strongly suggest checking out all of the reasons why this game keeps dragging us back into the depths of Hoxxes. The announcement of Season 4 will surely breathe more life into the game and keep its current fan base happy. We just hope that Ghost Ship Games takes it one step further and announces full cross-play support! It is the one thing this title really needs to last the test of time.
