Ghost Ship Games and Coffee Stain Publishing are prepping all intergalactic space dwarves for their fourth season of free content for Deep Rock Galactic. Very little information has been revealed about this new season with the exception of some short video clips showcasing some of the new features to be seen in the upcoming season.
The latest teaser shown above is horrifying! It seems like there is a new alien that will be hunting our badass space dwarves and cutting out the lights! How terrifying to think that an enemy can shut off your only source of light, even if it's temporary. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but it seems like adding a new enemy type that can alter gameplay is a smart move to keep the game feeling fresh.
The other teaser can be seen on Ghost Ship’s official YouTube channel. They seem to indicate that there are going to be some big changes to the ship’s mission control area. The videos seem to be hinting at a new event or item in the ship that players can interact with in-between missions. Similar to the barrel hoops and the jukebox.
We can also see a possible new mission type in the 2nd teaser video, showcasing a lonely dwarf working on a machine in the dark depths of an alien cave.
