Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Poetic Studio will be taking part in Steam Next Fest 2021 on Wednesday, June 16 with their highly anticipated Psychological RPG Sacred Fire. The first public demo will be launched during the event with a new trailer featuring the voice behind Geralt in the Witcher franchise, Doug Cockle.
The story casts you and as a refugee hunted by Rome with your actions being compromised by fear and rage. Willpower will allow you to control story choices and master battle tactics. Gain allies and outsmart opponents to help you on your journey. Will you end up a hero or an outcast, achieve peace or wage war? The choice is yours.
The demo will include the first chapter of the story, which will play differently depending on your selection of a male or female protagonist. Sacred Fire’s will have nuanced and meaningful differences between the two perspectives thanks to writer Jennie Kong. The demo will also feature, Michelle Gonzo and Ben Britton, along with Doug Cockle as key story NPCs.
Sacred Fire will first come to Steam Early Access in the Fall of 2021. The first three acts will be available on Early Access Launch and the other two will be added as major free updates. Poetic Studios will involve the community in the development of the game, which will lead to a richer story and incorporate feedback.
