A Destiny 2 free trial weekend for the PlayStation 4 will commence this weekend as Bungie is trying to attract players who have never tried playing the game. The free-trial will run from Friday, June 29 at 12:01 AM PT until Monday, July 2 at 10 AM PT. Players who access the free trial this weekend will be able to experience everything the base game has to offer, which includes the primary campaign, PvP, and endgame activities.
Given the short pre-trial period, interested players are advised to pre-load the game on PSN so you won’t have to waste precious time downloading the game once it becomes available on Friday. Destiny 2 is roughly 30 GB to download so better prepare your connection and check the free space on your PS4. Moreover, the full Destiny 2 game and its Expansion Pass bundle will be discounted for the free weekend. The Expansion Pass includes both Warming and Curse of Osiris.
In other Destiny 2 news, Bungie will be releasing Forsaken, which will be a massive expansion that will introduce significant changes to the game. The expansion will be coming alongside an update and will go live on September 4.
