At the D23 Expo, the corporate giant released the trailer for The Mandalorian, the upcoming narrative that follows a gunfighter of the eponymous race in the Star Wars universe. The video depicts a gritty world where a criminal underbelly flourishes under the Imperial regime. With a tone that's several shades darker than the blockbuster fare of the three Star Wars trilogies, the new show seems reminiscent of Rogue One. It's not the black and white world of the Jedi and the Sith. It's a murky grey patch where bounty hunting is on the menu.
With director Jon Favreau at the helm, we're anticipating a strong sci-fi series, and it will be one of the major series for viewers to watch with the advent of Disney+, the company's new streaming service. Pedro Pascal, of GoT fame, will play the mysterious Mandalorian. The show will be available on November 12th, but it is being released one episode at a time, so you'll have to watch it weekly.
