Peter Moore isn't interested in making an "easy buck" by remastering the Mass Effect series for current gen. Eurogamer snags the quote from an IGN interview the EA executive did in which he said the following...
"Could we make an easy buck on remastering Mass Effect? Yes. Have a thousand people asked me that? Yes they have. Do we have... No."
Moore continued, perhaps echoing the thoughts of a large group of fans and said they're presently more focused on Mass Effect Andromeda, the new "reboot" of sorts to the series...
"We just feel like we want to go forward. There's a little thing called Mass Effect Andromeda that we're totally focused on at BioWare, and it's going to be magnificent. Anything that distracts from that..."
I'm sure many of you are happy to read that! We've been waiting a long time for Mass Effect Andromeda, and I'm not dying to get back into Mass Effect. Sure the games were good, but I want something new to play, not the same old thing I experienced five years ago.
