With the rise of the Nintendo Switch, developers think twice about the platforms they want to publish their games on. There has been a move towards including the Switch with AAA titles, even though Electronic Arts seems hesitant to do so.
David Robillard, producer for Star Wars Battlefront II, told GameSpot that this doesn't mean it can't happen:
This is something we'll explore if we see opportunities there, but it is not something that's on the books right now.
We're going to remember this day, and will laugh about the time EA thought twice about the Switch. The figures are there; the console's games are selling like hot cakes in the Arctic and reviews for Switch games are getting the highest hits ever. How long can EA pretend not to care, or to push the Switch aside as if it doesn't exist?
