The day that not a lot of people saw coming is finally here. Nickelodeon has piled in popular characters from their cartoons from the 1990s and early 2000s in order to make a Smash Bros style mashup. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, developed by Ludosity and Fair Play Labs and published by GameMill Entertainment and Nickelodeon, has officially released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
To celebrate the launch, starting from day one, you can watch some of esports’ top competitive champions battle it out in a special week-long tournament. This event, dubbed the “Nicktoon Throwdown Invitational,” features exciting exhibition matches, in-depth commentary from the game’s developers, and more. The action kicks off today on Nickelodeon’s official Twitch channel at 5 p.m. EST and runs every day through to the finals on October 9th.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will let players choose their fighter from a colorful roster of Nickelodeon’s wide array of beloved franchises, including SpongeBob SquarePants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hey Arnold!, Invader Zim, Danny Phantom, The Loud House, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Rugrats, and more. Then they can dive into the action and use their hard-hitting skills to knock their foes off of each chaotic level to win!
