ETERNAL THREADS Gets Delayed On Console, But Not On Steam
Some unfortunate news for PlayStation and Xbox players that were looking forward to getting into this new time-manipulation game from Cosmonaut Studios and Secret Mode. While Eternal Threads is still scheduled to release on PC via Steam this week on May 19th, they have announced that both console versions of the game will now be released at a later date in 2022.
To lighten this announcement, they have released a ‘how to play’ video that breaks down what players can expect in the gameplay. Of course, you could still check out the free demo that is up on Steam right now to check the game out yourself. Even so, go digging into the time-changing mechanics that are at the core of Eternal Threads. The video explores the game’s unique sandbox narrative structure and shows players how to unpick various story conundrums by altering the choices made by the cast.
Eternal Threads is at least still planned to release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms this year, but it is a shame that a game based on time manipulation and changing the past didn’t see this coming. Even so, it’s like they commented on the delay, “some futures, it seems, are harder to predict than others.”
