What’s the plot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s campaign?
Set in the modern era, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s story starts with a bang: North Korea is launching a full-scale invasion. The campaign will alternate between multiple perspectives, including South Korean soldier Private Park fighting in the Korean trenches, while also bringing beloved CoD veteran Captain Price to the mix, who is working from the shadows.
Both stories will intertwine during the campaign, and players will get to visit many places across the globe. These include Korea, New York, Paris, and Mumbai, and players will get to experience “large-scale battles and covert missions to combined-arms warfare and cinematic set pieces.”
What does the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer look like?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will launch with 12 brand-new maps. The game will also offer Gunfight maps and various Big War maps designed for large-scale vehicle and infantry combat across locations featured in the game’s campaign.

New features and other changes
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 brings forth many changes to multiplayer progression and customization. These include a streamlined Create-a-Class system, Gunsmith, and Gunny, which will help you create builds based on your playstyle preferences.
By fully progressing weapons, you’ll also unlock Apex Attachments, which introduce unique weapon mods. These will complement brand-new weapons, which will be accompanied by new equipment and killstreaks. Players will also be able to choose between two Prestige paths: Classic and Regular, with the latter allowing players to keep their Create-a-Class content.
Shooting has also been revamped, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 removing bloom, rebuilding recoil, convergence, and weapon handling, refining depth of field and visual effects, and bringing weapons that feel more natural to the players.
Movement-wise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 offers traversal combat movement, expanded movement options (mantling, climbing, hanging, and jumping), all while keeping a level of grounded realism.
