Just as the podracing seen in Phantom Menace, Galactic Racer’s gameplay not only centers on reaching the goal first, but to takedown rivals while doing so. You’ll be able to pick from a selection of repulsorcraft, such as landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers. Then, your goal is to customize your racing machine to make it fit your playstyle and give you a competitive edge.
Galactic Racer features multiple modes, including a single-player campaign, an Arcade mode, and multiplayer, where 12 players can compete at once.
What is the plot and setting of Star Wars: Galactic Racer?
The game is set after the events of Return of the Jedi and during the New Republic Era. Players will race through various planets across the Outer Rim, which has become a haven for underground and dangerous activities, giving birth to the Galactic League, an unsanctioned racing circuit.
You’ll be able to visit multiple planets such as Tatooine, Jakku, Lantaana, Ando Prime, and Sentinel I.
