Back in August I had the opportunity to sit down with two very impressive voice actors at the first ever Salt Lake Gaming Con. Those two talented individuals were the delightful Canadians Amber Goldfarb and Elias Toufexis. Both actors have become good friends over the years of working with Ubisoft on Assassin's Creed titles, as well as touring the world to attend conventions like this one.
Goldfarb is most known for her part as Aveline de Grandpré in Assassin's Creed III: Liberation on the PlayStation Vita. She plays the first ever female Assassin, and is damn proud of that fact. Goldfarb has also starred alongside Felicia Day in her new series: LARPs.
Toufexis is definitely most known for his part as Adam Jensen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. I particularly liked him as the sleazy Andriy Kobin in Splinter Cell: Conviction and Blacklist. But that might just be because I'm a huge Splinter Cell fan!
You can watch the full interview in the video bellow as they discuss their friendship, working on Assassin's Creed, the evolution of performance capture, and the challenges of video games as opposed to more traditional media.
