After popular demand, Fallout 4 is finally receiving a next-generation update for PS5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC this month. This has been a long time coming as the current versions weren’t leveraging the new hardware in a meaningful way. Bethesda has confirmed that the update will be available for free across all platforms, and console players will be able to enjoy 60 FPS at increased resolutions. Here is everything you need to know about this update.

This isn’t all because Bethesda has announced tons of new free content including the Enclave Remnants, Makeshift Weapon Pack, and the Halloween Workshop. You can read more about these in detail here.
All these improvements sound fantastic, and I’m personally very excited about the Steam Deck support. While it already runs pretty well on the handheld, I’m sure with proper verification, we’ll see improvement in performance across the board.
