During the recent Far Cry 6 expansion reveal livestream, Ubisoft announced that the new expansion Lost Between Worlds will be available December 6 for $19.99 USD or as part of the Upgrade pass for Far Cry 6. In a thrilling new chapter of Dani Rojas’ story, players will need to work with a mysterious being named Fai to help them repair their spacecraft (Far Cry goes interstellar?)
To recover shards to repair the craft, players will need to utilize all their skills from Far Cry in guerilla warfare and action hero abilities to navigate through 15 intense trials called Rifts. Inside these rifts they must defeat Shardfaces, humanoid and crystalline enemies, seeking to destroy them and their progress. Each rift is distinct and features it’s own unique landscape, including a floating fortress or an underwater region. With multiple paths to success in each rift, it is up to the player to navigate them as they see fit based o n their playstyle. Upon completion, player’s will recieve powerful gear and be able to return back to Yara to continue the fight against the regime.
Ubisoft also announced that Far Cry 6 will offer a free trial for new players on all offered platforms, allowing them to experience one region in the game. Anyone who plays it will keep any game progression and enjoy discounts on the game and season pass. Along with this, Far Cry 6 has released its Title Update 6, with the highly anticipated New Game + Mode, allowing players to bring endgame weapons back to the start of their next playthrough
Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds will be available December 6 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, as well as Windows PC via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. Check out the reveal trailer below and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
