To commemorate Fortnite's first birthday, developer Epic Games just announced a special limited-time event in-game. The celebration event will run from July 24th until August 7th and will be playable on both Battle Royale and Save the World modes.
The event will feature new challenges, quests, and will include birthday-themed prizes to all players. Furthermore, a few cosmetic changes will be added as well such as the Battle Bus getting a birthday treatment and the Save the World's spolder husks will contain a "tasty surprise."
Moreover, the Battle Royale mode will include unique birthday items such as a celebratory spray, a cute emoticon, cake-shaped back bling, and 5,000 XP after you complete three challenges. To acquire the spray, players would need dance at birthday cake locations, and deal 1,000 damage to opponents for the emoticon.
