With the NYX 2022 Game Awards now wrapped up, we got some really interesting and honestly exciting results! Developed by Dreamside Interactive and published by Ravenage Games, Frozen Flame stole the show by claiming 8 awards this NYX, earning 4 Grand Winner awards for Best Visual Art, Best Games Design, Best Gameplay, and PC Games - Survival, and an additional 4 Gold Winner awards for Best Game Direction, Best Experience, Best Narrative, and PC Game - RPG. Needless to say, the development team at Dreamside Interactive are ecstatic right now and is hopefully riding this high through to their next big announcement!
Frozen Flame is set to be coming into Early Access very soon following an open beta and we can’t wait to see what this game has to offer, especially after such high praise. The Multiplayer Open-world Survival genre is flooded with dystopian, gloomy post-modern settings with a focus on militarization. Frozen Flame offers a counter to this and displays highly saturated fantasy environments with inspiration drawn from mythology and various fairy tales.
