The gaming comedy team at Game Grumps has teamed up with publisher Rogue Games to release their next game. The same team behind Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator has announced their next game is taking a bit of a different direction. Originally unveiled on Xplay is their upcoming psychological horror game Homebody.
This narrative-driven title is inspired by classic slasher films of the 1980s. Players will have to uncover the secrets of Emily’s past and find a way out of the house by avoiding the killer, solving the puzzles, and making dialogue decisions. Impossible at first, but with each attempt to put the pieces together, the blood-splattered picture becomes more and more clear.
Homebody is set to release sometime in 2022 for consoles and PC via Steam and Epic Games. Do you think a team known for their comedy will be able to deliver a proper psychological slasher horror game?
