I remember at E3 hearing a lot of people who talked about ReCore speak ill of it. I think the main reason for it was the game being viewed as something completely different than what it actually is. What looks like a female FPS set in Fallout, is actually being called a "great spiritual successor to Mega Man".
The graphics say realism, but the mechanics and double jumps scream there's more retro gameplay in this game than you know. Whether that's a good or bad thing you decide by watching the video below.
