With only a few more days remaining before Layers of Fear (2023) is released, Bloober Team and Anshar Studios have released a new cinematic trailer depicting the new story elements in the series remaster. Depicting the story of The Writer, the recently introduced new protagonist in the series, and her harrowing tale that ties each entry in the series together. They also showcased a mysterious lighthouse and alluded to past horrors, inviting players to glimpse the terrors that await them.
This remaster is a tribute to fans of the series both new and old. This franchise has helped shape Bloober Team’s core goal of delivering high-quality psychological horror games, and this new title represents the definitive Layers of Fear experience, making it the series’ crowning work. Speaking on the game’s impending release, Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babiano had this to say:
“The official premiere of Layers of Fear is just around the corner, and it’s no secret that everyone at Bloober Team and Anshar Studios has been waiting for this moment for a long time.
