Bringing out a silly yet blood-splattering good time in a gladiator arena was something Devolver Digital and Free Lives worked together to bring to PC VR earlier last year on Steam. Today, May 19th, GORN’s battle arena has found a new home on the PlayStation VR platform in search of more warriors to entertain the masses! Are you ready to get your hands bloody with victory?
Despite being a ridiculously violent VR gladiator simulator, it features a unique physics engine that gives players the ability to creatively execute their fallen foes. Along with full range attack options that let you take down these poorly-animated waves of enemies, it has a full stack of weapons to choose from. Starting with your bare hands and leading into swords, maces, bows, nunchucks, two-handed hammers, and throwing knives! When it comes to combat, this game makes sure that you can only be what limits your options to annihilate your opponents.
Free Lives put real effort into providing everything you could want, all the way down to creating its own language and having a five-track hip-hop EP in that made-up language. The effort must really show because it is already a beloved title on Steam and now it is officially on PSVR.
