Whether this means the best controller, headset, chair, or anything in between to you, it is a statement of fact that a good gaming setup is essential in a gamer’s life. With that in mind, here’s a list of the latest gear we’ve had the pleasure to try out this year and what we recommend for you or as the perfect gift for the gamer in your life.

This list will be organized by product type, but otherwise, it will be in no particular order.

Steam Deck Console

This handheld console was developed by Valve, the same team behind the largest PC gaming distribution software Steam. This console is a handheld way for PC gamers to play their favorite games on the go! No longer are PC players stuck only playing their favorite titles while at home, glued to their desks. ATOM Controller

Giving a proper controller for the mobile phone gamer is something that improves their gameplay experience substantially. Turtle Beach has released their new ATOM controller which connects through a Bluetooth connection and has its own handle that can grip just about any phone. This makes it a versatile controller option for Android users that play games on their phones. Plus, the size and design was made for it to be easily traveled with, making it a convenient device as well.

Recon Cloud Hybrid Controller

Another mobile gaming controller option from Turtle Beach this year is the new Recon Cloud Hybrid. This one is designed just like a standard Xbox controller and also connects using Bluetooth connections. The way it holds the Android device is with a grip that can be screwed on the controller, making it have a strong hold that doesn’t let the device slip out while playing.

Along with being a controller for your Android phone, it can also work on PC and Xbox consoles, making it able to be the same controller on the couch or on the go.
