Creator of The Dark Knight trilogy, Memento, and Inception, Christopher Nolan is no stranger to upending expectations and warping the viewer’s sense of reality. And it looks like he’s back to his mind-melting and visually-stunning ways because the official trailer for Tenet has released and it looks absolutely crazy.
On July 17th of next year, time runs out. But it also runs forward. And backward. At the same time. Yet different times.
It’s unclear exactly what’s going on, and that’s beautiful. The trailer still entrances, inspires, and confuses. In classic Christopher Nolan style.
The movie will star John David Washington from BlacKKKlansman, Robert Pattinson from The Lightshouse, Nolan-collaborator Michael Caine, and a slew of other famous faces.
Someone is out to save the world. What that means is uncertain, but with Christopher Nolan at the helm, it will surely be a wild ride.
