The Ubisoft Forward event showed us a lot of gameplay from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but now the developer has given us a glimpse of the protagonist Eivor.
His background, his home, and his motive are all shrouded in mystery and legend.
We can now see that that war that rages around him is nothing compared to the storm within him. I like getting to see the narrative-side of the game, and I’m hopeful that Valhalla will have a good story to go along with what will likely be classic Assassin’s Creed gameplay.
The game will feature raids, violent Viking combat, and a lot of what has defined the Assassin’s Creed series. But there will also be a chance to explore this unique time in history and to expand Eivor’s Viking settlement.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla releases on November 17th for Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, and Stadia. It’s available now for pre-order if you can’t wait.
