After their announcement in 2022, developers Jaw Drop Games and publishers Raw Fury are pleased to announce that their VR rhythm-based shooter Gun Jam is finally making its way to the Meta Quest 2! In this title, you will be shooting your way through colorful firefights to a high-energy multi-genre soundtrack. There will be two playable game modes to experience; an Arcade mode to play through the story and a freeplay mode to experience as you please.
Gun Jam VR is set in the vibrant city of Mubel, which is overrun by “Beat” and the citizens are all stuck dancing to the ever-ruling Speaker’s tune. You will act as the rebel and utilize the unique beat-pattern shooting mechanic to break out of its hypnotic flow. You will take on hordes of troopers and other enemies hypnotized by the rhythm using a variety of different weapons. Keep up the rhythm and match your shots if you want to survive the musical dystopia and restore freedom to the citizens of Mubel. Can you keep the rhythm?
Gun Jam VR is available today for digital download on the Meta Quest Store. More information about the upcoming PC release is expected soon.
