What can beat getting cozy during the holiday season, donning your favorite silver and steel swords, and playing a couple of rounds of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game? Not much!
For a limited time, ending on January 11th at noon, CET, GWENT will be holding its Winter Event which is live right now. Exclusively during this time players will be able to earn Pine Cones which can be acquired through logging in every day, completing daily quests, and winning matches in Standard, Seasonal, and Draft game modes. Now I know what you’re thinking, “What use is a Pine Cone,” right? Well during this seasonal event players will be able to exchange those Pine Cones for a bunch of seasonally themed vanity items including card backs, avatars, borders, titles, and both a leader and a coin skin.
Do you own the Geralt leader skin? Do you want to dress him up with the Red Hat and Cant Sword trinkets? Well during this event, owners of the Geralt leader skin can take on two special contracts that award these items. You will also be able to claim a Geralt leader skin exclusive sword inspired by Netflix’s The Witcher series, available for free until January 13th, celebrating the release of its second season.
Alongside all of these earnable goodies, the in-game shop has also had a seasonal makeover with limited items and bundles where you can enhance your collection to your heart’s content.
