Well, it seems that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary was closer to being ready for PC than previously expected! A Flight for the title was recently conducted to ensure the game ran correctly in both campaign and multiplayer with a number of missions being made available. The flight ended up being extended until February 28th and I guess no major issues were found because 5 days later the game has been officially added to MCC on Steam and Windows Store/Games Pass! A number of new features have been included with the PC release like higher FOV support and higher framerates. A new Character customization menu has also been added to let you get a better look at what your multiplayer spartan will look like.
MCC for PC is now one step closer to completion with the next game slated for release being the phenomenal Halo 2 Anniversary! No word has been set on when to expect the release of the following games but with this surprise release, I am thinking we won’t have to wait too long between flights to see it! MCC for PC is available as a complete $40 package which will include every Halo title in one bundle or each game can be purchased separately for a price of $9.99 each (Halo 3: ODST is the one exception at $4.99).
