HELLBLADE'S Accolades Trailer Favors Players Over Critics

It wasn't too long ago when the launch trailer for Hellblade was released and got us all excited. Apparently Ninja Theory has been receiving a lot of fan mail about Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, and they have decided to put it to good use. Instead of having a trailer filled with Accolades from reviewer sites such as IGN, GameSpot and Kotaku, they have decided to let the fans speak for them.

Here is their latest trailer, with accolades from fans scrawled across screenshots:

The Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Accolades Trailer. A very different kind of accolades trailer. Firstly, the trailer is created entirely from fan screenshots captured in the Hellblade photo mode. Secondly, instead of highlighting choice press quotes, the trailer highlights some of the many touching messages received by Ninja Theory since the launch of the game in August.

Even more significant to note is that all proceeds made from the game yesterday were donated to Rethink. They are a UK Mental Health charity that collects donations for those affected by mental illness. These donations by Ninja Theory were geared towards World Mental Health Day, which is 10 October.

So if any of you bought the game yesterday, know that it went towards a great cause. Let us know if any of your emails or letters made it into the accolade's video. We'd love to have a chat about it. You can have a look at this 25-minute video feature on Senua's Psychosis, if you missed it.
