The final and free expansion for the hit game Hollow Knight called Gods and Glory is scheduled to release on the Nintendo Switch on August 23, 2018. The DLC will serve as the final chapter of the Knight's journey in the game.
In a blog post released by Team Cherry, the developer said that:
"We said this'd be the largest pack yet and we weren't lying! A whole bunch of new bosses. A slew of new music. New NPCs. New Quests. The final chapter of the knight is turning into the celebration we hoped it would be!"
Lastly, the developer also revealed the Gods & Nightmare's official limited Vinyl record containing 15 new tracks and made by Ghost Ramp. Check out the cool packaging of the vinyl below:
It seems that Hollow Knight is doing exceptionally well on Nintendo's hybrid console. In fact, two weeks ago, Team Cherry revealed that the Switch version of the game was able to sell over 250,000 copies two weeks after its release on the Switch. Moreover, the developer hinted that the game will also receive a physical release on the Switch soon.
Hollow Knight is now available on the PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch. The last DLC for the game, Gods and Glory is slated to release for all players on August 23.
