Indie horror title, My Beautiful Paper Smile launches on Steam Early Access this Friday. The game is being developed by Two Star Games (My Friend Is A Raven) and published by V Publishing.
Set in a dystopian world, My Beautiful Paper Smile places players into the shoes of one of “The Joyous”, a group of children abducted by authorities and placed into a facility where they are groomed to become “perfect”. If “perfect” means being happy FOREVER.
The game is designed to get under the player’s skin, and scare them with the pencil-sketched style world, rather than throw jumpscares in their face. The first story chapter of My Beautiful Paper Smile launches this weekend, with subsequent chapters to follow throughout the Early Access period. Those who can’t wait to play the game can download the free demo that is available on Steam.
