HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST Gets A Cinematic Trailer Before Launch

With Horizon Forbidden West just a week away from release, Guerrilla Games has delivered one final, cinematic trailer for the game to get fans excited for the upcoming sequel. The trailer shows Aloy fighting different machines across a variety of environments as she reflects in voice-over on the lessons she learned from her father figure, Rost.

The release of this trailer comes alongside the news that Horizon Forbidden West is now available for pre-load for all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners that have the game preordered. This will ensure that players will be able to dive right in once the game is released next Friday.

In other Horizon news, Guerrilla also announced today that Horizon Zero Dawn has crossed 20 million units sold over the course of its life, making it one of PlayStation’s most successful releases to date. The infographic also revealed that gamers have logged over one billion hours in the game.

Horizon Forbidden West will pick up Aloy’s story several months after the events of Horizon Zero Dawn and it will see her traveling to a previously off-limits region to find the source of a mysterious blight. Some old friends will join her on this journey as she faces off against new and familiar enemies in search of answers.

Horizon Forbidden West will launch on February 18th, 2022,  exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
