Following their initial game announcement last month, publisher Destructive Creations has teamed up with Meridiem Games to publish the physical Cult Edition for the game Shame Legacy. While the name may be a bit off-putting for some, developed by Fairyship Games and Revenant Games are about to take players on a terrifying journey set in a cult-occupied village - so it’s actually fitting.
This title is a first-person survival-horror, set in a 19th-century forsaken cultist village. You must attempt to survive using stealth and escape mechanics, solving puzzles, and uncovering your connection to the mysterious situation you find yourself in. Meanwhile, an eerie danger looms over nearer… Waking up confused in the equivalent of a 19th-century anger management convention, you quickly realize that: 1, A hunt is taking place, and 2, You are the prey they are hunting.
Meridiem Games will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and distributing the special boxed Shame Legacy - The Cult Edition exclusively on PlayStation 5, which will be available in specialist stores across Europe and on their official website this summer. The special edition will include a specially designed case with a unique design as well as a metal postcard.
Shame Legacy is set to launch on May 30th for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Will you be getting the special cult edition or settling with a standard edition?
