Ridin’ For Loot
To be honest, even though I’ve absolutely loved all of People Can Fly’s games over the years, Outriders didn’t really catch my attention until the fantastic, recently launched demo that turned out to be a sweet slice of loot.. and gore filled pie. In the vein of Destiny, Warframe and other looter shooters, Outriders really sets itself a part with People Can Fly’s signature crazy gore but also absolutely solid gunplay and mechanics.
Most of the areas and environments are absolutely stunning ranging from insane anomaly-ridden forests, old cities, sewers and gorgeous snow capped peaks. The loot hunt is addicting, the action solid and despite a few cover related bugs, the game is pretty darn good shape for a AAA launch these days. Whether you wanna play solo or join up for some co-op, there are a ton of options and it’s even more fun with a friend.
Check out our full review coming soon along with some PC specific tweaks, tips, and goodies as Outriders launches April 1st on PC and consoles. So far, I’m having an absolutely loot filled blast playing through this crazy, post Earth world..
