Platforming games are a dime a dozen. Or maybe a penny a hundred. Something along those lines.
But it’s interesting to see games that twist and warp genre conventions to create an innovative addition to the inexorably-growing library of games available to play during coronavirus lockdown.
On July 31st, Naught from indie developer Wild Sphere will launch for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The unique game will test players’ skills by forcing them to control the environment more than the character. Guide the mysterious protagonist Naught through the dark underworld. It’s a subterranean labyrinth that will take you deeper before you find the light.
I haven’t heard of Wild Sphere before, but I’m intrigued.
Hopefully, this is another indie hit that will surprise and thrill. What are your impressions?
