To take the epic Bohemian medieval tale from the digital realm to a real-life top-down experience has led Warhorse Studios to partner up with the Czech board game company Boardcubator to translate the open-world RPG into a world of dice, tokens, and tactical tabletop strategy. While the Kingdom Come: Deliverance- The Board Game shares a few locations and characters in common with the video game, the board game itself tells a self-contained story and stands as a coinciding adventure to the digital one.
Marketing itself as a cooperative RPG for one to four players, Kingdom Come: Deliverance - The Board Game transports players to 15th-century Bohemia for an immersive story. Featuring true-to-life voice acting, an all-encompassing ambiance, a “you are what you do” character-building system, and an included mobile app to take care of all the gameplay rulings, players can focus on their quests and their stories instead of a rule book.
