We have finally been given a straight showing of some gameplay that will be in the upcoming Metroidvania title Aeterna Noctis. Although Aeternum Game Studios is planning to release the game on December 15th for PC via Steam and Epic Games, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, it is never too early to start building some hype for a game.
The new footage reveals more than five minutes of challenging gameplay of The Light Tower, one of the most technical and difficult areas of the game. Precise jumps, portals, magical enemies, and a new zone that forces players to master timing to overcome it are some of its key features. Not to mention that it shows just how massive the world is compared to the player’s character.
