LIFTOFF: DRONE RACING Is Getting A Console Version

After releasing on Steam back in 2018 and getting a widely positive reception, developers LuGus Studios has teamed up with astragon Entertainment to bring the drone racing simulator to console. Liftoff: Drone Racing is a fast-paced, action-packed drone racing game that has become a staple for drone racing enthusiasts. Now they are expanding their reach to include console-bound enthusiasts as they prepare to launch on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

This game will feature drones that can be customized with countless licensed frames and parts, which allows pilots to squeeze every bit of efficiency out of their personal builds. For newcomers, they will have a variety of game modes designed to hone their flying skills and a dedicated “assisted flight” feature will ensure the game is accessible to everyone, including players who’ve never flown a drone before. For veterans, you will be able to participate in pulse-pounding races with other FPV competitors.

There is no set release date other than 2020, but the first players to get to play the console version of the game will be those at PAX East in Boston from Feb 27th to Mar 1st. Do you know how you want to set up your quadrocopter?
