Last week, Nintendo brutally “killed” Luigi in the recent Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct. However, it seems that Luigi is doing well after all, and most importantly, alive. Now, Nintendo has announced that the 3DS remake of Luigi’s Mansion will be released on October 12, 2018, in North America and October 19, 2018, in Europe.
The 3DS version of Luigi’s Mansion will include everything from the original version of the game but will include new features that will take advantage of the 3DS' bottom touch screen for the map. A new Gallery Battle Mode will also be introduced, which allows Luigi to fight previously defeated “boss ghosts” for the second time. Luigi’s Mansion for the 3DS was initially announced at the Nintendo Direct last March.
The new iteration of Luigi’s Mansion is set to release on October 12, 2018, for a price of $39.99 for the Nintendo 3DS.
